Stay on top of what’s happening in your organization with the notification center, and control which notifications you receive from Notification preferences.

Notification center

Open the notification center from the bell icon in the global header. An unread badge shows how many notifications you haven’t read yet, and new notifications arrive in real time while you’re signed in. Notifications cover events across your workspaces, jobs, VM clusters, and billing — see Notification preferences for the full list by category. Click any notification to jump to the related resource. Notifications are kept for 30 days, then removed automatically.

Inbox and Archive

  • Inbox: The default tab. New notifications land here, read or unread. Use Mark all as read to clear the unread badge.
  • Archive: Notifications you’ve archived. Hover a notification in Inbox and select the archive icon to move it here, then restore it to Inbox anytime.
Notifications from the same resource are grouped together, with the latest one shown and older ones collapsed under a +N more events link.

Notification preferences

Open Notification preferences from the gear icon in the notification center to choose how each category reaches you. Categories are organized into four groups, each with its own channels:
GroupCategoryNotified whenChannels
WorkspaceStatus changesA workspace is running, interrupted, or paused by an adminEmail, Inbox
WorkspaceMonitoring alertsResource thresholds are exceeded or runtime issues occur, such as OOMKilledEmail, Inbox
JobStatus changesA job is running, succeeded, or failedInbox
JobMonitoring alertsResource thresholds are exceeded or runtime issues occur, such as OOMKilledInbox
VM ClusterFirewall rulesFirewall rule changes are appliedEmail, Inbox
BillingCredit alertsCredit balance is running low or depletedEmail, Inbox
  • Channels per category: For each category, choose to receive notifications by Email, Inbox, or both.
  • Section toggles: Turn the Workspace and Job groups on or off as a whole. When a group is off, its categories are disabled. VM Cluster and Billing have no toggle — they’re always on.
  • Always-on email: Billing credit alerts and VM Cluster firewall rules are always sent by email and can’t be turned off, since missing them can interrupt your workloads or affect account security.
Notification preferences apply to your account only. Changing them doesn’t affect other members in your organization. Some categories, such as credit alerts and VM cluster firewall rules, appear only for organization admins.
